I’m so tired today! Maybe my not so stellar diet this weekend is catching up with me? I’m not sure, but this evening after dinner while the husband was playing with the little guy I totally crashed on the couch. I’m still exhausted so I’m going to head to bed after I post this quick update. :)
I actually mustered up enough motivation to run after work. I realized that I have my next 5K this weekend and I need to start training for the half I signed up for in May by Feb 9th to get 12 weeks in. All I can say is….. Click here to read the rest »

You are NOT hungry right now. You are T-I-R-E-D!
That’s what happens when you wake up at 5AM and go to the gym before work. Pat yourself on the back and treat yourself right by hitting the hay early NOT eating to simply stay awake (like you normally do.)
How do you get past the "I’m not seeing results and feel like a complete cow" thing? I’ve been working my ass off (literally!) and I feel like when I look in the mirror, my stomach hangs lower, sticks out further and I’m going NOWHERE. Its driving me CRAZY and I don’t really know what else I should be doing. I run 2-3 miles, 4 times a week, watch what I eat etc, etc, etc. I just want to lose this freaking weight that WILL NOT come off!

After work on Friday I hopped on a plane to Boston for WordCamp. It was a wonderful weekend that was much needed for me. I unplugged a bit (besides a few tweets here and there) and just tried to relax. I’ve been a bit stressed lately as FitBloggin is approaching.

Yup. You heard that right. I’m being blunt tonight. Don’t get your panties (pun intended) in a twist. I’m not turning nudist or going crazy. An NO I won’t be recording any Ask Roni videos in the buff so don’t even ask. lol
I don’t think I’m alone when I say I’ve been MORE then modest my entire life. I feared the locker room at gym class. I would never wear a bathing suit without a t-shirt. I don’t like low cut shirts or short skirts. I never took a bath without bubbles.
