One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Athletic Adventures!

I never played sports. I never aspired to be an athlete. I never thought I would enjoy a run or compete in any kind of athletic endeavor. I was even TOLD I couldn’t run as a child.

It almost seems impossible for me to explain how far I’ve come on my own fitness journey since my weight loss. And I can’t stress that since enough. I didn’t start working out to lose weight. I lost weight by changing my diet and getting more active and then slowly — very slowly — challenged myself to try more and more things.

I am now in my late-30s and, without a doubt, in the best shape of my life. Click here to see how I found fitness.

Here’s a list of posts that highlight my personal history with fitness. Each link should open in a new window.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

It is very nice to see people just like you!

I identified with your lifestyle, since 1999 I practice sports and I’ve done Kung Fu, Taekwondo, swimming and today I am just practicing running and weight training.

I live in Brazil and I want to go running al in the United States, if one day I go I warn people to take shots and beat a good chat!
