Off to Bowling!

Today is my bowling league night so I’m posting my journal now as I don’t want to lose my momentum.

Pre-Breakfast 

On the way out to volutneer for Fit Kids I made a quick smoothie.

Smoothie

1/2 banana, greens, egg white, cocoa powder and ice.

Fit Club, by the way, was a blast! We learned how to box jump and played Burpee Box Jumps. I don’t normally take photos as they are minors and, well I have no time, but today I snuck one in since their backs were to me.

Breakfast

Another “quick & easy” avocado idea for the CAC as I prepare my posts for them. This time I smashed half an avocado with some salt and red pepper flakes, spread it on toast and topped it with a hard-boiled egg. It was delicious and totally hit the spot!

Avocado Toast

After breakfast I ran this guy to school for a total of 2 miles.

As I said on Facebook, it was my longest run since starting back up and beginning to train for my half with Cabot Creamery Cooperative.

*Only* 2 miles and I had to stop and walk a few times. I’m finding the return to running is more mentally challenging than physical for me at this point. But I’ll get it back. One ‪#‎wycwyc‬ step at a time!

Lunch

Salad no rice, no beans, double veggies, double chicken, salsa and guac.

Dinner

I made the dinner I planned on making yesterday: Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I knew I wouldn’t have time to take the pic after dinner so I snapped (and wrote this while it was cooking).

I’m off to finish dinner, eat, shower and head to bowling. I’m cutting it close but I’ll make it.

Oh! and I’ll probably have a few beers while I’m there. :)
