I don’t have much in me tonight but I thought I’d take a minute to share my past two days on Whole30.

I have to admit, it hasn’t been has hard (so far) as I thought it would  be. I miss cheese for sure! But it’s only 30, I mean 26 days!

Overall I’m feeling great. I was a little tired and weak during today’s workout. I think I need to eat something when I go in early.

There’s 39 members in my Whole30 Group on MFP. How are you guys doing?!?

Oh! and if you’re curious, it’s 4 days soda-free for The Husband. His longest stretch ever!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Congratulations to your husband! I was a Diet Coke addict, and gave it up last year cold turkey. Embarrassingly, I actually had dreams about it for the first few weeks , but it got a lot easier, and now I don’t ever crave one, and I NEVER thought I would be able to say that!

Cheese…..I just don’t know if I could manage to make it 30 days without cheese. Kudos to you for going for it!

Congrats to hubby for being soda free for 4 days! I kicked that habit back in October and it pert near killed me for a bit! I didn’t have ANY for weeks….and now I am doing well with having one every week or two, and when I do drink that one I almost instantaneously crave some water!

Im day 2 whole 30 and doing shockingly well since Im dealing with sick kids and feel pretty crummy myself. I miss my diet soda. Big time.

Have my own local group of coworkers that are doing it together – they are rocking it! And bringing in lots of tried recipes for everyone to try at lunch!

    I’m conflicted with meal plans.

On one hand, they give the structure people need to be successful. But on the other hand, I find them very constraining and unable to do long term. I’ve been researching behavior change and I’m not sure if I’ll continue giving my clients meal plans (maybe just for the very disciplined) or give them a couple daily things to do with food. The reason I say this is because some people eat SO BAD they could never eat like this so suddenly and would quit.

What do you think of meal plans vs. focusing on a couple nutrition things like eating veggies, drinking water and eliminating certain foods?

You have inspired me to make a start and give Whole30 a go. Will have to work on my hubby too to get off the soda!
