I’ve lost my bookends. Life’s been busy. Holiday season is taking its toll. Eating out is at an all-time high. All I can say is… I’m trying.
Besides that, nothing special happened today. Just, you know, work, kids, and holiday prep.
Today’s food journal…
Breakfast: Scramble with leftover steak and sweet potatoes topped with sriracha while playing memory with the kids before school.
Snack: Sunflower seeds and a handful of fried green beans.
Lunch: Qdoba Mexican gumbo with brown rice, chicken, salsa, guac and lettuce.
Dinner: Panera out while Christmas shopping with the kids. I had a Lentil Quinoa Bowl with a side of their squash soup, which is a must this time of year!!
