JOURNAL

I’m Trying.

I’ve lost my bookends. Life’s been busy. Holiday season is taking its toll. Eating out is at an all-time high. All I can say is… I’m trying.

I did have an awesome second workout today when Josh Marunde stopped by the gym to drop in. He’s the drummer for Pop Evil and a super cool guy.

Besides that, nothing special happened today. Just, you know, work, kids, and holiday prep.

Today’s food journal…

Breakfast: Scramble with leftover steak and sweet potatoes topped with sriracha while playing memory with the kids before school.

Snack: Sunflower seeds and a handful of fried green beans.

Lunch: Qdoba Mexican gumbo with brown rice, chicken, salsa, guac and lettuce.

Dinner: Panera out while Christmas shopping with the kids. I had a Lentil Quinoa Bowl with a side of their squash soup, which is a must this time of year!!

Snack: Pistachios.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Thank you for sharing! I appreciate reading from bloggers who keep it real and let readers know that sometimes they struggle too. It’s even more inspirational than having the perception that everything is perfect all time.

That’s such a cute picture of you and the drummer. He’s a hottie! Your food photos look so good, as always. I’m in holiday mode and just want chocolate… trying to save it for the weekends. And I don’t know how you & the kids have time for a game before school! So awesome. I only have memories as a kid of my sister and I running for the school bus every morning….. and just making it in time.
