One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

I Haven’t Lost It!

My Sunday kicked off with a local 5k. I haven’t run more than a mile in months so I was quite surprised at my 28:17 finish time. I actually finished 4th in the 30-39 age range out of 10!

I’m far from a speed demon but I’m proud of myself for maintaining a sub 10-minute-mile pace.

I haven’t lost it!

After the race I went home and made myself eggs and then the kids and I headed to the gym. Ryan asked if he could earn some cash for cleaning and I, of course, said YES!

It’s his first job! I love it!

The rest of the day was spent doing Sensational Sunday things:

I needed to list that out because there’s about million more things I could totally do right now but I’m done. It’s time for a cup of hot cocoa with some Baileys and The Walking Dead.

I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Great timing on your run! Congratulations. Your weekend at home sounded perfect. My heart was heavy this weekend and I just wanted to spend time with my hubz….eating pizza, and ice cream, and tried to pull myself away from the news. Today is a new day, today is a new day, today is a new day…. starting with home made veggie soup.
