My day started at the gym as it often does. I snuck in my workout at 5:30 and then photographed the 6 a.m. class for our Facebook page.
I got home around 7:30 and spent some time with the kids before shuffling them off to school.
Once they were out of the house, the music went on and I started to clean like a mad woman. With Thanksgiving around the corner I had a lot of ground to over. It was really needed, too.
I headed back to the gym around noon, knocked off a few things on the to-do and then planned out the Fit Kid’s class.
The Husband dropped off our boys for class and we had a few other kids join us. They did great!
I stuck around a bit to take a photo or two of the evening classes…
… and then took the kids to Chick-fil-A
Once we got home it was bath and bed for the kids and I had a load of laundry waiting for me to fold.
Now that I recapped it, my day sounds pretty boring and uneventful but it was really great!
Today’s food looked like…
Post-workout: 2:1:1 recovery shake made with 1/2 scoop after my workout
Breakfast: Leftover shrimp pasta with broccoli
Lunch: Leftover Lentil Soup With Ground Turkey and Kale
Snack: Protein bar while working, my stomach was growling.
Dinner: Chick-Fil-A cobb salad with double grilled chicken, a few of the kids’ fries and 3 nuggets.
Snack: Hot cocoa and mint tea — 2nd night it worked like a charm to prevent unneeded and unwanted snacking!
