This morning started bright and early with a game of Memory.
Right after this conversation:
Him: I’m killing it!
Me: You’re killing it?
Him: Yeah, I’m going to cream you.
I snapped this…
He cracks me up… when he’s not annoying the crap out of me.
Later, I was inspired by these two things and made a huge batch of soup.
While I cooked the boys played their own game.
And I ate some leftover quinoa salad for breakfast.
Yesterday I tossed some frozen blueberries and frozen strawberries with cooked quinoa, feta cheese, hemp hearts, fresh chives, dried cilantro, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey.
It was delicious!
Late morning the kids and I went to the gym. The 10-Year-Old and I cleaned and then it was time for yoga!
The 4-Year-Old joined us for a bit and it was absolutely adorable.
And I snuck in my FitAid “selfie.”
Amy leads a great class for us. It’s the perfect balance of challenging, stretching and restorative poses.
Today I actually held crow pose for like 2 seconds!
We have so much fun in our small class. I’m hoping it catches on at the gym because CrossFitters definitely need yoga!
When I got home I dove into the soup I made before I left. It was simmering all morning and it came out delicious!

The rest of the afternoon was wonderfully lazy. We watched The Incredibles while snacking on popcorn and my absolute favorite combo of veggie chips and hummus.
I’m about to sign off and make nachos for dinner. I’m cleaning out the fridge of leftovers to make room for Thanksgiving prep and there’s a chunk of pork loin just sitting there ready to be transformed into something yummy.
And nachos are yummy! :)
