Have I mentioned how I’m just not into breakfast foods anymore? I don’t know why. I used to come home from the gym and make eggs all the time or I’d whip up some oatmeal. Now none of that appeals to me and I can’t figure out why.
I mean, I guess my diet is always evolving but this shift seems odd becuase I’m not driving it. Usually my diet changes happen slowly, over time, because I want them to change, this one just sort of happened.
Anyway, that’s just my warning before I share my strange breakfast with you.

Bison was on sale over the weekend at my local grocery store so I picked up a few pounds. No one even noticed the difference in my meatballs.
My homemade sauce, pasta and those meatballs may have been the best breakfast ever. I wasn’t hungry for hours!
Out for sushi — sashimi lunch special
The Husband convinced me to go out since he wouldn’t be around the next couple of days for lunch. We’ve been doing really good on the eating out thing lately for dinners but lunch still gets us about twice a week.
Dinner was tuna steaks, fried rice mixed with quinoa (the family doesn’t even notice) and roasted broccoli with coconut oil.
The 10-year-old didn’t help as much as I wanted him to. We had some homework issues. grrrr.
Stomach a little growly. I decided on some vanilla Greek yogurt topped with cocoa nibs, sunflower seeds and Hemp Hearts. It’s my current yogurt obsession.
