What a crazy, active Saturday!
It all started at the gym with The Murph Challenge. Every year my gym hosts this event to honor Lt. Michael P. Murphy and this is my third time attending.
I’ve never attempted the workout in the vest but every year I’ve pushed myself to do more than the year before. This year I did negatives for all the pull ups instead of bad form kipping. My goal is to one day do it Rx and I’m getting there. This was the first year my legs didn’t feel like they were going to fall off when I was done, so progress is definitely happening.
This was my heat.
I finished last coming in at 63:07 but it’s all good. I did my best and felt amazing afterwards.
I hung out a bit and then headed home to take Evan to a birthday party. It was at a local bouncy house and the two of us had a blast!
While we were bouncing, The Husband took Ryan to the driving range. I love that we each spent time solo with the kids.
By the time we came home I was exhausted! Both Evan and I went down for naps. We needed to rest up before yet ANOTHER party. This one at Sky Zone.
The whole family went and we all had a BLAST. Even though I have a *cough* problem with trampoline jumping (I can’t be the only leaking momma out there!) I still do it. It’s just too fun not to!
Overall it was a super active day!
I took the day off from food journaling. I’ll be back tomorrow with a Sensational Sunday!
