Tennis, Anyone?

Today it was warm for the first time in a loooooong time. Of course it’s coming with rain but we got lucky with a few dry hours right after dinner and totally took advantage.

Both kids had a blast hitting balls with The Husband.

And The Husband loved every minute of it.

Tennis is his game! And I love seeing them all active together.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

    Hi Roni,
I see you put coconut oil on your popcorn. The last two days I have been reading up on it and the comments I have been reading make it sound like it’s a miracle for just about every type of problem there is, from helping low thyroid to getting rid of acne, age spots, c section scars and stretch marks, helps you lose weight, helps with tummy troubles, is goid for pets, and the list goes on and on. It makes me want to start using it to see what results I might have with it.
So as a long time reader of your blog, I know you are an honest person and thought I’d ask you if you have tried it for more then popcorn.
From what I have read they say to start with small amount, like a teaspoon a couple times a day and work up to several tablespoons.
Anyway, curious as to if you have used it in greater amounts and what benefits you have seen, or if you know others who have had good results? Thanks for any insight you might share!

I don’t believe the hype. I use it because it tastes DELICIOUS! Really, the extra virgin stuff adds a sweetness and an amazing flavor especially with sea salt. Most of what I read about it’s benefits are anecdotal and I don’t buy into the whole oil pulling trend. I use it in moderation on popcorn and in cooking here and there not as a supplement. Now that I’m not actively trying to lose weight the “fats” I use in cooking and preparing food are olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and bacon fat. When I was losing I just used non-stick spray to reduce calories. Hope that helps!!

Does “the husband” have a name?

Avocado pudding? I love avo but… idk about this “pudding” business. I was on-board with the black bean and beet “burger” (but when I went to the grocery, NO BEETS? wth? (And my Hubs was STRONGLY against the idea, just as I expected!) … but you’re going to have to sell me on avocado pudding. :)

    Happy Friday!

I am NOT JOKING. It is the BOMB!! I’m planning on making an avocado video next week so I may slip it in there. I actually don’t even measure anything. I just through an avocado, salt, vanilla and maple syrup in the blender with a splash of milk to get it going and it’s like heaven in a bowl. Seriously.
