Birthday Party Boy

Just popping in for a quick update. Our 4th birthday bash was a blast!

I can’t believe he’s 4. Remember when I announced my pregnancy? Posted my Little Bean’s sonogram? Gave birth? Was that all really 4 years ago?

It seems impossible!

Anyway, great day with friends and family. I love getting everyone together.

Food Journal

  • 7:30 a.m. Bowl of chocolate rice cereal — breakfast with the kids
  • 9:15 a.m. Post workout shake (1 scoop)
  • 11 a.m. Grapefruit
  • Rest of the day — Party food
I stuck with my homemade sloppy Joes, deli meat and cheese, veggies with hummus and fruit.
  • 10 p.m. coconut chips while watching Fury.

Activity Journal

  • 8 a.m. workout: Still not feeling 100% but I did what I could. We were supposed to do 20 weighted lunges in the front rack heavier than we did last week. I did the same weight but only did 10 in a set. I was too winded to keep going. This cough is getting old.
    10 @ 33 lbs
    10 @ 63 lbs
    3 x 10 @ 93 lbs
CrossFit Open 15.3 Scaled —  I did 2 rounds of 50 – 14b wall balls and 200 single jump ropes plus 35 additional wall balls (score: 535). I kind of wish I was feeling better to see what I could have really done with this workout.

  • Water could have been better. I’m having broth and tea now.
  • Supplements taken

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

    Hey Roni!

FYI- did you know that the scaled weight for the wall balls on 15.3 was only 10lbs?!?! I see that you used 14lb ball?

I didn’t know until I got to the gym yesterday and my judge showed me the standards that showed it was 10lbs at a 9ft target. I was pumped about that! Especially since i’m used to using a 14lb with a 10ft target =)

Better than 14 minutes of “trying” for a muscle up like some people did…
    Maybe next year…

NO WAY! I had no idea. I was kind of pissed they started with the muscle ups so I kind of didn’t bother. I actually thought scaled was 14lbs wall balls and DU until someone told me it was singles. I could have done forever with a 10! lol

I’m not sure I’ll ever get a muscle up. We shall see. :)
