One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Homeward Bound

I’m popping in really quick before Mom gets home from the hospital. She’s getting discharged today! YAY!

So far my #FlatOutLove moments have been little things I could do while working here. First, I’ve been listening to my new mix obsessively. At this rate I’m going to have to add new songs.

I also took a break for lunch and (instead of grabbing leftover pizza) rummaged through Mom’s pantry. Inspired by a recipe I saw online I made this.

And it was delicious! I’ll post the recipe on GreenLiteBites ASAP. What an amazing combo celery and orange makes!

I’m going to cut today’s post short as I have a few things to do before Mom gets home from the hospital, then a 3-hour drive and child-care issues to work out tonight.

Before I leave, however, I want to take a moment to remind you Flatout flatbread will be at Walmart Friday through through Sunday to kick off the year with fun in-store demos. They are featuring one of their favorite recipes — a turkey, poppyseed, and clementine flatbread wrap, which inspired my Chicken Wrap With a Simple Blueberry Balsamic Reduction.

Oh! and I inquired about a possible gluten-free Flatout and they have confirmed it’s in the works!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

I can’t wait to check out the recipes for the wraps! Today I spent the first 20 minutes of my day reading–I know, I’m a dork :). I #flatoutlove to pleasure read and am slowly working my way through a list of books that will be made into movies in 2015. When life gets busy, that is one thing that goes. Thanks for sponsoring this and making me think about what I really want to do for myself at least a few minutes a day.

Today I #FlatOutLoved that I have been reading, like I said I would! I downloaded the Kindle App on my phone and am reading All You Could Ask For. It is nice to be reading a great book instead of watching mindless tv.
Your salad looks great! I LOVE chickpeas.
