To celebrate the end of the #FlatOutLove challenge, I devoted Saturday to doing simple things I #FlatOutLove

1. Started my day at the gym.

2. Colored with Evan.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Well, my flat out love has taken me from researching nordic trails to booking a lesson for me and my hubby and now to researching clothing. We are going shopping for ski pants soon! I’m so excited for this new adventure and can’t wait for our lesson next week and spend the day re-loving my love for cross country skiing!

My Flatout update is I made a goal to get back into reading. I did and I’m loving it! I also decided to make an active goal: I did day one of Couch 2 5k. It kicked my ass in the most wonderful way! I’m looking forward to day 2 tomorrow!!! Thanks for doing this Roni!

My final #flatoutlove update…I have spent the week reflecting on how strong I AM, rather than how weak I am. Recovery from a running injury which led to a subsequent hip surgery is no joke…physically and emotionally. After starting PT this week, I’ve been concentrating on how much stronger I am getting and that I may, possibly, be able to start running again….a scaled back running of what I used to do, but I might be able to get my feet back on the pavement again, nonetheless. I had been concentrating on that fact that I, more than likely, will not ever be able to run everyday again and I may not be able to run half marathons anymore (if I want to keep running at all for many years to come). Focusing on the positive, rather than the negative has made this a great week. And, that was my #flatoutlove promise to myself for this week! :)

I #flatoutloved this challenge! It reminded me how much I enjoy reading novels and how easy it is to fit that activity into my day if I just make a bit of an effort.

The weather has finally started to warm a little, which is ideal for a good run. I have gone for a long run the last two mornings. It felt good to get the heart beat up and feel the burn in my legs.

I said I was going to do just 10 minutes of Zumba a day but I did better and went to a class yesterday. I haven’t been to one in a long time but it was fun and felt so good! I love it!!

#Flatoutlove update: I got myself to bed early every night this week to give myself 10-30 minutes just to relax and read! It really helped me fall asleep better and I felt more rested. I got much further in my book than I usually manage in a week and it felt great just to prioritize some time to do something I love!

What an awesome day! We had a family night and played My Little Pony Monopoly with my girls. I #flatoutlove games and am excited that my girls are old enough to play some fun ones that I loved growing up. And as a side note, I love grocery shopping alone, too. Did that today and am fully stocked for the week, which I also love :).

I learned that I really need to make time for yoga, even if it’s just 10 minutes, because I #flatoutlove the way it makes me feel both physically and mentally.

I flat out love getting rid of stuff and organizing. It’s overwhelming at first, but if you break it down into smaller chunks it’s very doable. I had 3 huge bags of giveaways after my clear out this week. One room at a time. I’m going to keep this challenge going because of how good it feels afterwards.

I #flatoutloved my last few days on my new life plan! It’s so wonderful how supportive my husband is, and is doing it with me! I’m so grateful of all the friends and family supporting me. I’m kickstarting my year here in the Midwest prior to spending a month in Southern Florida for the birth of our very first grandson (after 4 daughters!)

This challenge was a real eye opener! So much joy comes from doing things we love. I’d love to keep it going. I have built my song playlist and have been singing at least a little every day. I’ve decided to take a step back from some projects that were taking too much brain power and spreading other projects out more so they aren’t so draining and making some time and space for doing things I love. Thank you for this #flatoutlove challenge!

I made my bread on Saturday and ate it on Sunday. DH even gave it a thumbs up. Then grocery shopped (I like it too) and watched the football game! #flatoutlove
