Just popping in to share my food journal and this awesome photo of my baby eating a maki roll.

 I love that he loves it!

I took the boys Christmas shopping and the 3 of us went out for sushi. It was fun but I’m exhausted. Off to bed!

  • 5:45 a.m. 2 Date-based cookies similar to these.
  • 7:00 a.m. Post-workout shake. I’m giving this one a try at the moment
  • 9:15 a.m. Health Warrior Chia Bar on my way out the door.
  • noon A LOT of Chocolate Chip Almond Oat Cookie Experiments — Recipe coing soon!
  • 1:30 Homemade Chicken noddle soup
  • 4:00 p.m. MORE cookcies.
  • 7 p.m. Split some edamame, noodles, and maki rolls with the kids.

    Any tips for what to pick when eating sushi? Have always found the heavy rice content to be detrimental to losing weight – plus it always makes me want to take an afternoon nap if I have it for lunch!

      Well, you can always go sashimi. I do that a lot. That being said, I don’t tend to worry about the rice on my rolls. I only eat sushi maybe once a week or so and I normally do brown rice if they have it.
