One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Christmas Here We Come!

Today started with haircuts while watching the Grinch.

Little Bean HATES it so much I don’t even bother bringing him in for a trim. I just deal with the cries and squirms and buzz him myself.

We then prepared the living room for the tree.

But first breakfast!

The thanks I get for making him bacon and eggs. ;)

These two were totally into the decorating.

After the tree was up we put the 3-Year-Old down for a nap. The 9-Year-Old and decided to watch a movie but I fell asleep.

I woke up to this…

The Husband is slightly Lego obsessed.

And deranged…

He was helping me test the camera location for our family photo.

I always try to take one the day for our Christmas cards.

This shot was in the mix and I’m just sharing it because, well…

It’s cute.

Decorating is done!

The Boys and I had some fun looking through a toy catalog and we picked out a few things to tell Santa about — click here to check them out.

That was my whole Sunday, totally relaxing. I’m am having a hard time recovering from some holiday eating habits but I think tomorrows return to schedule will help immensely.

Hope you had a great day. I’m off.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

After seeing your Indoor Snowball Fight from last year, that’s what I’m getting my grandson.

Ohhh I forgot about that. I should put together a favorites post. That would totally be on it!

We have the same Lego sets, and we make a village with them too! We rebuild the sets together every December, and usually add a new set every year. I have the Santa’s workshop set tucked away, and building that is our plan for Christmas Eve this year (we don’t have family in town and won’t be travelling, so it is something to make the night a bit more special). So, I don’t see anything at all unusual about your Lego village…. Except that I couldn’t handle having it on my eating bar. :) we put ours on the sofa table in the living room.

It’s our “family” gift every year and we add to it too!

Roni I’ve been reading your blog for many years and enjoy it, but this is the first time I’ve commented. Just wanted to say your decorations look great and to tell you your husband cracks me up…I always look for his “famous finger” in all his photos! lol
