I’m making this Wordless Wednesday mostly because I’m speechless. I’m so proud of that boy up there. He ran his first “cross country” meet all by himself! This is his third year. Running doesn’t come easy or natural to him but he’s been working on it with me and his progress is amazing! Today he ran the mile in 9:06, which blew every other of his miles out of the water.

So, so proud of him. Click here to see when this running started. It’s been an adventure!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Way to go Ryan!!! That is so awesome. I clicked to read the link you posted and I love that you say to your son that it’s not about being the best but about being OUR absolute best. Beautiful.

Your good influence on him is incredible! You should be the proudest mama! If I ever have children, this is exactly how I would want to influence them – to be ACTIVE and healthy! Life would have been so much easier for me as a child if I were active and healthy and even knew what vegetables were, let alone reached for broccoli when it was available!

Good for him!!! I feel proud of him, and I’ve never even met the kid. Well done!
