I’ve been planning to bring back Wordless Wednesdays, but truth be told, I’m too chatty to post just a photo.
That being said, I’m going to try to capture something about my Wednesdays in pictures to share. I love challenging myself to think creatively with the camera.
Tonight’s photos are of dinner. The 9-Year-Old and I made a pasta dish with shrimp and peas.
And the whole family devoured it!
In other news:
- I took a short run today pain free in my foot! Only about a mile and half. It flared up slightly afterwards but nowhere near the pain I had before. I see the podiatrist again next week, and today the physical therapist worked on it a bit.
- Speaking of, I swear physical therapists are like witch doctors! One session today and my mobility increased significantly! I’m also armed with lots of stretches to do on my own. I go back Friday and I’m looking forward to it.
- I shared another dinner I cooked this week on GreenLiteBites, Spatchcock Chicken With Maple Spiced Sweet Potatoes. It’s SO easy and such a family pleasing meal. I may make it my mission to inspire everyone who’s afraid of cooking whole chicken to try this method!
- I’m going to end on the best note of all. We heard from the publisher who finished editing the #wycwyc book and this is what she had to say…
“…I can say from a legit standpoint that this is a wonderful book. It’s real, wise, intelligent, creative, funny, relatable, clever, transformative, and so much more. It’s seeped into my own life in ways I’m most grateful for, and I can’t wait to watch others grab on to this and love it as much as I do. Standing ovation, ladies. “
On that note, I’m off to watch Survivor with my boys (smiling ear to ear)! Hope you had a great Wednesday!
