A Leisurely Labor Day Weekend

Hello from The Husband’s Surface!

WIN_20140430_055800It’s almost 9 p.m. on Labor Day and I got tired of fighting with my MacBook Pro. It has officially bitten the dust and I don’t currently have the funds nor the interest in replacing it. My entire workflow has been disrupted but I’m looking at it as a opportunity to change things up. I spend too much time on the computer anyway.

So I’m just popping in to share a bit about my weekend. It was pretty low key. We didn’t do much. Friday night our friends threw a party, Saturday we literally did nothing except nap and watch football.

If you didn’t know, we are a Notre Dame family. Well, I should say The Husband is a Notre Dame guy and we are all along for the ride. I don’t hate football but I don’t love it either. I’m a fan through marriage who has grown to appreciate the game.

Sunday we had another leisurely time hanging out with the kids. We took them shopping and got some ice cream. I also ran my 7-mile training run.

Today was more relaxing with a midday trip to a duck pin bowling alley.

None of us have ever gone. We had a blast!

Overall we had a great weekend. I’m a little mad at myself for a few food choices, but, whatever, I’m over it.  I needed this weekend. It’s been great just spending time with the boys.

I’m looking forward to finding my groove the week.

Hope you had a great holiday.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.
