A Post-Vacation Note to Self…

8 Comments 2248 views

It was vacation. It’s over. Moving on.

I mean really, you couldn’t have had a better time. Why ruin it with self-loathing thoughts, guilt and regrets?

You’re living the dream!

Just look how lucky you are.

THEY don’t care nor will they remember what you looked like in a bathing suit.

You know what they will remember?

Playing in the sand.

Running in the surf.

Diving in the waves.

Sharing an ice cream cone.

Playing Monopoly.

Spending time with their cousin.

Mom kicking Dad’s butt in Wacky Golf –OK, so I only won by one stroke but still!

Riding rides.

Racing around the lazy river.

Skee-Ball.

The carousel.

Paddle ball with Grandma.

Just hanging out together.

Life is too short to worry so much about how you look. Plus, tomorrow is a new day to kick butt!

Pick up the marathon training where you left off, stock the fridge and seize that Sensational Sunday!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Roni! Look at your AMAZING, STRONG legs in that very first picture. You are one tough, fit cookie. Nothing to regret or loathe there. Absolutely nothing!

Welcome back and I’m glad that you had such a nice vacation. True to form, you’ve got a great attitude. That’s why I keep on coming back to you for motivation. I had been killing it earlier this winter and spring and them fell off the rails so am restarting again. But doing it with the WYCWYC attitude so that I don’t skip small bits of exercise or good food choices because they’re not worth it or perfect. I’ve been fighting off my inner mean girl and have been trying to focus on being kinder to myself and just make better choices. So thanks…..again….

I found this online and not sure if anyone has tried it. I have the hardest time satisfying my sweet tooth and that’s where my weight loss gets stalled. If anyone has tried this, can you let me know if its worth it? http://359119-gq1iu0y38v-mfv8wq2a.hop.clickbank.net/

Just seeing those happy faces shows there is nothing to regret or feel guilty about. You shared #wycwyc and you are living it!

You look fantastic! You have a great outlook! Although I know what you mean, I just got back from vacation and post vacation reality hit me like a ton of bricks. I started to judge my choices and feel guilty. In reality our kids will not remember any of those things only we focus on. They will remember all the fun memories we made at the beach.
