Duuuuuude! I am KILLING this #100kSteps Challenge!

I cannot stress enough how these are not my typical step counts. If I don’t make an effort I average about 5,000-6,000 a day,  the result of working a desk job.

But if I make a conscious decision to take a more active approach to my day — click here to see 10 ways I’m upping my step count —  it makes a HUGE difference!

And I feel better, so much better when I do. I’m more motivated, happy and I sleep like a rock!

I now love to run, weight train and I pretty much workout 6 days a week BY CHOICE. I wasn’t always like this. It all started with a commitment to move more. <– Click that. No really, it’s one of my favorite posts.

    Great job, Roni! I have been doing well too. Wed: 22,488, Thurs: 15,532, Fri: 17,783. Weekends are my tougher time – without walking the kids to/from school etc. I have to remember to put my pedometer on my pjs first thing in the morning – my early morning puttering adds up to 1,000+ steps.

    I have been doing pretty good. 17,857 Weds., 17,168 Thurs., and 15, Friday. I’m at just under 15,000 today and probably won’t get too much more. Getting out for a run tomorrow to keep mine up there!

    I usually get at least 12,000 steps/day and I sort of work at it making sure I get a few 15 – 20 mins walks in each day. With this challenge I am going all out. Today I have over 21,000 which puts me well over 50,000 for the first four days. Love this challenge!!! Seems like everyone is ROCKIN IT!

    Didn’t join the challenge but should have because I’m rockin’ the steps too!! I bought a fit bit and am now challenged everyday to hit those high steps. 18,779, 13,088, 15,111. Thanks Roni for keeping me going!

    I had a lower than usual step week last week, so this challenge came just at the right time. My steps so far:

    Wednesday: 19,864
    Thursday: 10,518
    Friday: 16,417
    Saturday: 19,174

    I taught on Thursday and then spent several hours in the car. The challenge definitely “made” me get out for an evening walk! And my step totals for the other days are also much higher than usual! Thanks for giving me the push I needed to “step it up!” :)

    Well, I’m up to a total of 51,716… Not as high as I’d hoped but there are still three days left in it. That’s only an average of about 16,000 steps a day. Totally doable!
