I Passed Out! (Asleep that is!)

I can’t believe it either!

Here’s an abbreviated play-by-play of yesterday:

5 a.m. Up for gym

7 a.m. Breakfast with the kids (we had eggs and mini wheats!)

8 a.m. Kid 1 off to school. Play with kid 2 for about an hour until The Husband took him to pre-school

9 a.m. Make new recipe, photograph it for GreenLiteBites and then head to my office for some: writing – promoting – conference planning – emailing – updating – blogging (Sometimes I even wonder what it is I do all day.)

11 a.m. Realize I’ve been sitting for 2 hours and take a quick run around the block. (maybe half a mile, if that)

1 p.m. Lunch date at a Thai place (I love Thai!!) with a new developer who may be helping me redo all my sites. (They are in desperate need of repair and I just can’t do it alone anymore.)

3 p.m. Stuck at the pharmacy waiting for a prescription. (I didn’t tell you guys but I have a UTI and the first string of antibiotics didn’t work. I’m on script No. 2)

4:30 p.m. With Kid No. 2 get farm share, prep veggies, make dinner.

5:30 p.m. Dinner with the family (I’m really big on us sitting down together every night)

6:30 p.m. Hike with the kids (My last-ditch effort to up my step count for the day.)

7:30 p.m. Give kid No. 2 bath. Argue with kid No. 1 that he ALSO has to take a bath. (why do pre-adolescent boys not like to shower?)

8:30 p.m. Read to kid No. 1 with tired eyes, lay down down for a minute…

And scene.

I was OUT! Like dead asleep in moments. The Husband came home from tennis around 9 (I think,) checked in on me and I incoherently swatted him away.

I slept all night too, something that hasn’t been happening for a long time now. I got up at 5 a.m. this morning to catch up on all the emails and such that I missed last night and now here I am.

If my calculations are correct, my total steps so far are 53,726. That’s just over half but I only have 3 days left! I’m going to have to average at least 16,000 steps every day to the end and I haven’t even had a 16,000 step day yet. It’s going to be tough, there’s no doubt about it!

How are you guys doing? What’s your total step count so far? From the social media updates, some of you are really killing it!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

From the headline, I thought you really passed out. Like fainted.

I’m so sorry! lol I use that expression to mean “fall asleep fast” all the time. I don’t even think of it the other way.

I have 67,745 through Thursday and 13,545 for yesterday. I usually get a lot of my steps from walking outside and it is POURING today so longer on the treadmill for me.
Your day made me tired just reading it.

You needed a good night of sleep! I did 22,359 steps yesterday for a total of 33,453 for my two days (started Wednesday). I have great weekdays – walking the kids to and from their schools etc – my challenge will be the weekend days. Aiming to up the steps this weekend.

I’m falling short too, but upping my steps from the week before, so a win for me too. Roni, be sure to take probiotics if you’re taking antibiotics. I got on a vicious cycle in the past.

From the title, I also thought you had fainted/passed out! Glad it wasn’t something serious.

Oh wow, I was one of the ones that thougt you really “fainted” & I was worried. I kept waiting through the whole blog for when it would happened!! SO glad you’re ok!!!
Anyways, I’m glad you got a good nights sleep, you obviously needed it!! :) Good job with the steps, I know you can do it!!! I wanted to participate, but I didn’t have a fit-bit or even a pedometer & I get your blogs a little late here is So Cal & just wasn’t able to go on the one night I had to buy a pedometer (as it was my hubby’s & I, 13 year anniversary)!!! :)
As always, THANKS for all you do & please take care of yourself!!!! ;)

OK, count me as another one who was worried you’d fainted–it happened to me one time after a run, while trying to eat dinner out. The ambulance came and I spent the evening in the ER. I still am too embarassed to go back to that Chevy’s.

But seriously, take it easy, you’re sick!

I love Thai too! My husband loves red curry and I love anything with veggies and a mild spice. Your hiking trail looks so inviting. I hope to get out walking soon. Now that temps in my area are finally getting above 50.
