#100kSteps Challenge Take 2

I need another boost of motivation and nothing got me moving more than our #100kSteps Challenge. Let’s do it again!

This time the American Heart Association has donated an awesome red Fitbit Flex as a challenge giveaway.

This thing is so stinkin’ cute! It’s a special band to help raise funds for the AHA.  Fitbit is donating $10 for every Red Flex wristband and $2 for every Red Flex accessory band sold — click here to check it out!

So here’s the deal…

We have 7 days to hit 100,000 steps. You can track steps using any device you like, even a good old fashioned pedometer. Just don’t CHEAT. I mean, really, what’s the point?

I’ll post a updates throughout the week (here and on twitter, Facebook, IG and tumblr using the hashtag #100kSteps) with a wrap-up post next Wednesday.

If you want to be entered for a chance to win the red Flex simply leave a comment letting me know you accept the challenge and then post your total step count next Wednesday. Anyone who hits the 100k steps will be entered into a random drawing for the Flex. I’m shipping so there are no restrictions!

That’s it! Pretty easy, right? I don’t know about you but I really had a great time with this challenge last time and I can’t wait to give it another go!

    Great challenge! I’m barely peaking at 5,000 steps a day, so I’m thinking I need a different goal for myself – I’m gonna try to do 50,000 this week and see how that goes. Thanks for the inspiration!

    Okay, I’ve tried some of the other “challenges” you’ve done, and I’ve failed miserably at them. But I’m going to try this one because walking is one thing I definitely CAN do!!! I’m going to totally win at walking. I can feel it. (I have “These Boots Are Made For Walking” playing as my theme song in my head right now)

    This challenge couldn’t have come at a better time for me – I’ve been really lacking in the motivation department lately and this will help me get off the couch! Count me in :)

    On a side note, I’ve been enjoying your blog for years Roni. You’ve inspired me in so many ways. I’ve lost about 70 lbs this past 18 months, and of all the weight loss / healthy living blogs I’ve read, yours is the only one I visit on a daily basis. Why? Because you are authentic! Case in point – yesterday’s post about the photo you didn’t want to share because of your stomach showing. I love how REAL you are – it’s SO refreshing.
