A Sensational Sunday with a Super Active 3-Year-Old

8 Comments 1361 views

Ok, Game of Thrones is on so I have to make this super quick — Note: my laptop is broken so I can’t work and watch. :(

Anyway, two things before I share today’s photos.

  1. I feel like poo. Actually, scratch that. I feel great! My leg is getting better, I have no back pain, and with this weather, no allergies. What I mean is I feel… umm… blah. Fat, thick and out of sorts. ALL I WANT TO DO IS EAT! I think  it’s hormonal. It will pass.
  2. The 3-Year-Old is in his crazy active phase. The kid does not slow down. You’ll see…

Up bright and early and playing with moon sand.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

    Hi Roni,
Haven’t posted in a while, but just wanted to say, I felt the same exact way on Sunday!! Started out okay, but as the day went on the hubby was “in a mood” & the more I tried to cheer him up the more his mood rubbed off on me. I ate way too much food & still feel icky in my tummy this morning.
Why oh why do we do this to ourselves???? Well, time to brush ourselves off & more on, right??????????? I’m going to try & have a better week & do my best to eat @ home the rest of the week to make up for the Sunday binge, but if I do end of eating out i’m going to do my best to not say “oh well, I may as well eat everything in sight now”!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes it’s so hard.
As always, thanks for all you do. It’s so nice to know, i’m not alone. Though i’m sorry you had a rough patch too, but know you are also NOT ALONE.
    Thanks again,
    Jeri Lyn

I love the hiking photos! I tried being a runner and it never became enjoyable for me. I felt left out with other moms training for races, until I discovered hiking! I heard about a 13.75 mile strenuous hike in my area and made that my goal. Two years now (both times the day after Thanksgiving), my husband and I have completed the loop. So hard, but a great feeling of accomplishment finishing.
I look forward to your blog entries, so motivational on many different levels!

It was 2 pork hocks we got from the farm. The kids love it and potatoes were a great addition!

I’ve been reading your blog forever (2006 ish), and my daughter was born right after your littlest guy. It’s so funny seeing your Sunday posts, and thinking, “yep, that’s about right” for every phase he goes through. I swear they play the exact same games, do laundry in our shoes, and help us cook and bake with the same enthusiasm! My favourite photo was his hide and seek. Cutest ever!
Diddo for your funk. I’ve been in mine for weeks now, and am determined to snap out of it.

    Three things:

    1. We have that lego set :)
    2. How on earth do you fit so much into one day? It makes me tired when I read your Sunday posts!
    3. Does the bread get soggy on your sandwiches when you make them the night before? I would love to remove this step from my morning but I use butter and lettuce on my daughters sandwich and worry they would be limp/soggy by lunch the next day.

      1. It’s fun!

      2. My Sunday secret… http://ronisweigh.com/2012/02/5-tips-to-get-more-done-in-a-day.html

      3. I only make him PB&J and we don’t have an issue with sogginess.
