Weekend Quote: When You’re Not Good Enough

Not-Good-Enough

This is an excerpt from the post 7 Things to Remember When You Think You’re Not Good Enough By Madison Sonnier on Tiny Budda:

5. You have to fully accept and make peace with the “now” before you can reach and feel satisfied with the “later.”

One thing I’ve learned about making changes and reaching for the next rung on the ladder is that you cannot fully feel satisfied with where you’re going until you can accept, acknowledge, and appreciate where you are.

Embrace and make peace with where you are, and your journey toward something new will feel much more peaceful, rewarding, and satisfying.

YES! Whether it’s weight loss or something else you have to accept the now or you’ll never be happy with the later IF you are even able to make it there.

Thanks Tracy!!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

I am already in love with your blog ( I have now been here twice). Your posts are simple, to the point and still have SO much depth with him. Thanks for the inspiration.

I’d like to second the idea that you need to accept yourself now if you want to reach success. Having an idealized image can help but if you don’t take it one step at a time you’ll end up overwhelming yourself and burning out sooner or later. I am putting together some interesting things about this over at http://blubeegan.com/ remember take it one day at a time.

A little extra words of wisdom: Be happy with what you have but never content. :)

I’m having trouble accepting myself the way I am now, because I feel like it’s not who i am. How can i get there? Lots of failed attempts over the last 2 years to get there back to the old me btw.

Honestly, stop thinking and start doing things. Things that make you happy. Things that make you feel good. When I look back I realized how much time I waisted feeling sorry for myself. Take all that energy and channel it activities that give you a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
