Embrace and make peace with where you are, and your journey toward something new will feel much more peaceful, rewarding, and satisfying.

YES! Whether it’s weight loss or something else you have to accept the now or you’ll never be happy with the later IF you are even able to make it there.

    I’d like to second the idea that you need to accept yourself now if you want to reach success. Having an idealized image can help but if you don’t take it one step at a time you’ll end up overwhelming yourself and burning out sooner or later. I am putting together some interesting things about this over at remember take it one day at a time.

    I’m having trouble accepting myself the way I am now, because I feel like it’s not who i am. How can i get there? Lots of failed attempts over the last 2 years to get there back to the old me btw.

      Honestly, stop thinking and start doing things. Things that make you happy. Things that make you feel good. When I look back I realized how much time I waisted feeling sorry for myself. Take all that energy and channel it activities that give you a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
