On Coming Home

6 Comments 1213 views

I’m happy to be home after spending the past four days at Mom’s for the holidays. We had loads of fun visiting but it’s always nice to get back to routines. To be honest, I missed my gym, my kitchen and my bed. The kids were ready, too, wanting so badly to come home and play with the toys they got from Santa.

We had an amazing time though. I loved just hanging out with mom at the house and taking the boys to see Walking with Dinosaurs with my stepdad. We also ate too many cookies, drank too much wine and just chilled. Really, what more could you ask for?

We even had an impromptu What does the Fox Say dance party!

I don’t have my typical Sensational Sunday post because we traveled most of the day but tomorrow through the New Year my plan is to slowly get back to my routine while taking advantage of the last few days of the holiday. I’m not exactly sure what that means yet. I’ll figure it out as I go. I always do. :)

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

How was Walking with Dinosaurs? I’ve read mixed reviews. ;)

It was ok. I enjoyed the story and both kids seemed entertained but it isn’t winning any awards.

Always good to visit family and good to get home. When I had my regular breakfast today and then took my morning walk I sort of said “ah! back to real life!” Too much eating and drinking over the holidays, and ready to get back to the real world and my routine.
