Yup, that’s me waving from the beach. I spent the weekend with these amazing women …

…in Ocean City. We had a Saturday at the spa and then ended the night dancing at Fagers Island.

I had a FANTASTIC time.

This morning I started the day with a run. Was I tired? A little hungover? Yes. But I don’t have the chance to run by the bay every day!

It was totally worth it.

There was this beautiful magnolia tree on the way to the bay and I just fell in love with it.

I made it to the water and decided to record a running on vacation video for my series.

My commitment to run every time I’m in a new place stands. It’s just much fun!

After some breakfast, packing and clean-up we hit the road. This was my view for 3 hours on the ride.

Gorgeous, right? I ended up dozing off for the last hour. It was a much needed nap.

When I got home the boys happily greeted me at the door. I didn’t take any photos. We talked, played, and ate dinner together. I wanted to just be in the moment with them because not only did I go away this weekend, I’m heading to San Antonio tomorrow afternoon for a food event with HumanaVitality. Then the following week I’m going to LA for a photo shoot with Ladies Home Journal — more on that later when I find out what I can share.

It’s a busy month especially considering Thanksgiving is the following week, but I love it. I’m always happier and more content when I’ve got lots of things going on.

After our evening of family bonding, The Husband went to tennis practice while the boys and I picked up supplies at the grocery store.

We had a blast.

Then it was bath and bed for the kids and Walking Dead for Momma. :)

Ok, time for me to wrap this up. I’m exhausted!

Hope you had a great weekend.

So glad you had a great time at the beach! Fager’s is the best for dancing! I recognize the magnolia tree from Bayside. We have a place there. Did you make it to The Point? Hope it wasn’t too windy during your run.

Love the jeans and they look like a good fit. I have a terrible time finding jeans that fit right. Would you mind to share where you found them?

Why do they always stop making the ones that fit?

I KNOW! And I meant Gap. I think you can still buy them online but they aren’t in the stores. At least the last time I checked.
