One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Half a Sensational Sunday

I’m baaack!

I have to admit, it felt weird and surprisingly freeing to be completely disconnected.

There’s so much I want to share about the trip but I honestly can’t wrap my head around it. Instead I spent the afternoon editing a recap video, which threw off my plans for a traditional Sensational Sunday.

It all started with me and Mr. Independent.

We are in the full-blown 2’s. His favorite phrase is, “I doooo it.”

I need to get it on video.

For breakfast I made my first ever batch of homemade granola.

It’s not very traditional. At least I don’t think it is but it came out super crunchy and yummy! I’ll post the recipe on GreenLiteBites tomorrow.

Before too long I lost Little Bean to Big Brother.

It was all good. I had some unpacking to do.

The house was/is a mess and part of me really wanted to focus on cleaning.

But we were having too much fun.

After lunch Little Bean went down for a nap and I started editing the vacation video (click here to check it out.) That’s when the day fell apart. Time got away from me. We still got most of the laundry done and went grocery shopping but that was about it.

It’s all good though. A “normal” day at home was just what I needed to get back into the groove of things. I wore my Fitbit and kept a food journal just to hit the ground running.

OK, I’m TRYING to get to bed early this week even though it’s already 11:30 and The Husband has me sucked into Breaking Bad on Netflix. We are finally catching up with it!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

We also stayed up way too late last night watching Breaking Bad on Netflix. :) We just started with it – so still in the first season. So amazing.
