One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Scenes from My Low-Key Sensational Sunday

I left these 2 in bed when I headed for a morning run.

When I came back I was immediately recruited for some car play.

I told Ryan to get a shirt on because I’d be taking pictures and he decided to match me. :)

Yesterday I bought a jump rope so I can practice double unders and someone has been stealing it on me.

We, well I, baked muffins! Click here for the story and recipe.

I love catching these little moments.

I made myself a breakfast for lunch since breakfast was a muffin. :)

After lunch I left the boys and went grocery shopping. Alone.

It was glorious.

I came home, put the groceries away, and straightened up with some help.

Then we headed back out to Ikea on the hunt for patio furniture.

Someone HAD to climb on every damn couch. He tested them like a little, grumpy, old man.

When we got home I cooked dinner while The Husband happily put together our new umbrella.

Lately, I’ve been all about the grill.

After dinner, we cleaned up, got the kids ready and I made lunch for The Toddler.

I’ve been trying to share more of his lunches on GreenLiteBites and even started a new category called Preschool Lunches. Click here to check it out.

That’s all I’ve got in me tonight.

Hope you have a great weekend!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

I mastered double unders today!! So fun to see someone else working on these also. I did an interval workout with the jump rope of one minute jumping, one minute rest. During the jumping section, I’d try to get in as many DUs as I could!

Looks like all kids are the same. My boys insist on trying out every sofa whenever we go furniture shopping

How do you prepare your asparagus? Mine is either chewy or bland. Cute pictures. Did you get your umbrella at Ikea?

      June 12, 2013

Yup. I’m a bit of an Ikea nut. :) As for the asparagus, just a little non-stick spray and salt. Cook until the color brightens and they soften just a bit. If they are chewy you are probably getting old asparagus.

Thank you! Ill try the asparagus your way.

My closest Ikea is about 3 hours away :( I could use a new patio umbrella myself. Loving the blog & I am following you on Instagram, You inspire me daily!
