I just wish I had more time and energy!
My day started with a run before the kids woke up.
It was nice, but MAN I’m so darn tired of the cold! I can’t wait to run without a scarf and hat.
When I got back I shot my #YogaADay pose…
…and asked Ryan to take a picture of me taking the picture.
Didn’t he do a great job? He actually came up with the idea to shoot behind me. Genius!
Before too long, Bean was up and we had fun hanging out and reading for a bit.
These 2 boys have seriously stolen my heart. I love the age difference. In a way it allows me to give each kid the attention they need or at least I think think they need. Ah, who am I kidding, it’s what I need. :)
Breakfast was a mish-mash. Ryan wanted cereal and bacon.
This is the first thing he’s shown an interest in cooking on his own. He always flips one. It’s cute and makes me so happy.
For Little bean I made a banana-egg pancake.
Frankly, I think these things are gross but the 2-year-old loves the which is awesome because he all of a sudden stopped eating both egg and banana solo, 2 of his old staples.
I mix in a little bran, flax, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and baking powder and cook them like regular pancakes.
However, they are much moister and lighter, hard to flip even, but the boy devours them!
That was the last egg so I made a smoothie for myself. This one to be exact, except I added a little banana.
As always, Breakfast was awesome. :)
Most of the morning we just hung out and had a good time.

A Sensational Sunday post would not be complete without at least 1 laundry post.
Once the laundry was started, I decided to tackle my pig sty of a desk.
I’ve been telling myself I’d clean it while working, but when the time comes to work I’m too busy, well, working!
It was time to just bite the bullet and organize.
I made my new favorite salad…
After lunch we got outside and practiced lacrosse.
I must admit, I can see the appeal of this sport. It’s super fun!
I left the boys outside and headed to a Bikram yoga class. Two hours later I came back a sweaty mess.
This is the second time I’ve gone and I really like it! It’s challenging yet relaxing and I have so much I want to get out of my head about it, but I’ll have to tell you in another post. I just don’t have the time tonight.
It was yummy and everyone ate with minimal complaint. Amazing!
After dinner we cleaned up, finished the laundry,
and took baths.
I didn’t get everything done to prepare for the week (grocery shopping, lunches, etc.) but man I had a FABULOUS day. Actually, a fabulous weekend. Yesterday Ryan and I went frog hunting, I had a date night with the husband, and the 2-year-old has been at the peak of awesome toddler cuteness.
I’m feeling blessed.
