I’m just about ready to pack and head to the airport for my Willful Weekend Getaway. Tomorrow morning I’ll be running my 3rd Tough Mudder in Temecula, CA and I must admit, I’m nervous.
I haven’t worked out these last 2 day because of some pain in my lower back and now I’m questioning if I should be scaling walls and jumping in the mud. I’m not NOT going, so I’m in play it by ear mode.
Anyway, before I leave I wanted to post a weekend quote that got my attention this week. It reminded me of my forward progression attitude with running and races…
“If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking.”-Buddhist Proverb
Isn’t that the truth!
Think weight loss.
Think fitness goals.
Think career aspirations.
Think life in general!
It doesn’t matter how fast we get there or how many stops we take.
Just. Keep. Moving. Forward.
And you will get there.
Okay, time for me to go. I still have to take a shower and pack!
