Weekend Quote: Trust Your Judgement

4 Comments 1663 views

I shared this photo of a fortune cookie fortune a few weeks back on Instagram…

…and it’s really stuck with me for some reason.

Maybe it’s a sign of my age but I’m trusting my judgement more and more the older I get, and it hasn’t let me down yet. If anything, I’m happier and more content because of it.

Anyway, I just thought I’d share. I love random thoughts and fortunes cookie sayings. Sometimes they are spot on. Other times, they just give me a giggle. :)

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Thank you for the reminder, Roni! It’s fun to vicariously experience your growth as a person through this blog.

I’ve found that the more I can be honest with myself, especially regarding my feelings about undesirable experiences, the more I trust my gut. It’s easy to lie to myself, after all. And who is more important for me to trust than myself?

As my self-trust has grown, so, too, has my confidence in my own judgment and “take” on things. I’ve found that, most of the time, the answers I seek are truly found within.

If I had a lot of money I would pay someone to make decisions for me–super ugh!!
