Less Process = Lower Number
That’s about all I need to sum up this weeks weigh in. I tried my best to avoid processed food this week. If you’ve been following my food journals you’ve seen exactly what I was eating, a lot of vegetables, fruits, meats and nuts. I ate when hungry and had to get creative to avoid the processed filled pantry by making butternut squash fries or whipping up a soup for lunch with some beans and veggies.
The result after 6 days?
I’m down 2.2 lbs!
I think the biggest difference this challenge made for me was it’s effect on night time snacking. Most days I still had a small snack but it was air popped popcorn or a homemade oat and nut bar. No more mindless munching by grabbing a bag of chips or a box of crackers.
In other news, I’m off to the doctor this morning. I haven’t been able to shake this infection. :(
