We’ve heard it a million times, right?
Slow weight loss is permanent weight loss.
You should’t lose more than 2 lbs a week.
Big losses are mostly water weight anyway.
Of course that doesn’t matter too much to us when we hop on the scale after a great week of staying on plan, watching our points/carbs/cals/whatever, and drinking all our water. Our minds race with excitement and we are filled with hope and positivity the scale will reflect our amazing effort. We did pass up that slice of birthday after all, that couldn’t have been all for not.
Down .4 after another amazing less processed week.
I’ll take it!
I refuse to let the scale or the number ruined how awesome I’ve been feeling lately. First of all .4 is nothing to sneeze at. It’s a loss.
A loss is a loss.
Second of all I’ve been feeling amazing! Two weeks into eat less process (note: not UNprocessed as that felt way too restrictive and ended up backfiring on me. Click here to see my less processed food journal on instagram.)
Last night @RunningRachel asked
My 140 character response really sums it up.
Listen, the scale is going to say what it’s going to say but there’s no denying how you FEEL. That should always be the most important indicator of your success.
I feel amazing, inspired, motivated, and energetic.
How do you feel this week?
