One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

New Instagram Food Journal and My Inspiration Runs His Best Mile Yet!

6 Comments 1282 views

I generally avoid posting twice a day because, well, it seem obsessive, but I have 2 fun things I want to share.

1. New Instagram Food Journal.

I’m going to try to keep a consistent food journal on instagram. Posting them here and taking shots with my “good” camera just isn’t realistic day in and day out. With instagram I can take the shots on my phone, share then instantly and then if it feels right, post them here as well.

I’ll be tagging the entries #LessProcessed #FoodJournal. Feel free to play along on twitter if you like. I found it really fun today. Here’s what I shot…

They aren’t the best shots, but they’re fun and keep me accountable. That’s really all that matters.

2. My Inspiration Runs His Best Mile Yet!

After a pretty emotional post and self talking to myself this morning I ended up having a great day. It’s amazing how a little conscious decision to be kind to yourself can turn your whole attitude around. Anyway, after reliving a bit of vacation history on The Unworldly Travelers, I ran Ryan’s 3rd Cross Country meet with him. He was AMAZING! His progress and attitude are both awe inspiring. He ended up finishing his mile in 9:06. That’s a whole minute faster than his first!

He impressed me so much today. His drive, enthusiasm, his desire to do his best. I was floored and proud beyond words.

I just had to share those 2 things tonight. I’m off to bed. ‘Night!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

9:06 is Awesome! His attitude is the best part though. Good parenting is what gave him that.
