Up 1.8 lbs after FitBloggin. That’s 2 weeks in a row the scale has gone up.
I’m putting my note to self from yesterday into practice and just noticing. In the last 2 weeks I’ve gained 2.6 lbs and I know why; I’m stress eating at night –using food as way to stay awake when I really should be sleeping, my workouts ceased for FitBloggin with time being so tight, and for the past 2 days I’ve been battling the post event funk.
Thankfully I don’t get into the “Ohh F’it” mindset like I used to. In the past, a 2 week set back like this would have sent me down a path of binge eating junk food for at least a week. That is, until Sunday rolled around giving me permission to try and start a “perfect” week again.
Now I know there will never be a perfect week. I’ll never follow a diet (*cringe*) perfectly. I’ll never be able to stick to my workout schedule perfectly. I’ll never have the perfect body.
And all of that is OOOOOKKKKK.
I’m not in a race to perfection. I’m setting my sites on living a healthy balanced life and I’ve already succeeded regardless of what the scale says.
