One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

NOTES TO SELF...

Note to Self…

11 Comments 1600 views

You just ended one of the busiest, most emotional, stressful weeks of your life. It’s time to regroup and move on. Cut yourself some slack on not working out or eating “perfectly” because you know…

there’s no such thing anyway.

Weigh in tomorrow. The scale is going to say what it’s going to say and you are going to keep. moving. forward.

Remember… No Judgement, Just Notice.

Thanks for reminding me Krystle.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

    Hi
Roni! Let me first start off by saying that I love your blog. Thank you for your transparency and for your inspiration. I love your note
to self reminder to be forgiving to yourself. Give yourself permission to just chill and let it all marinate. You’ve earned the down time. I am an event planner
and I soooo know how you are feeling right now. You need time to recover, regroup and to get your life back in order. I REALLY wanted to attend the
conference, but by the time I became aware of it I couldn’t rearrange my schedule to come. My plan is to be there next year and I’m already super excited. I’ve been blogging about my weight loss journey for almost a year and would love the opportunity to meet you and others who share the journey and the passion for blogging. If you get an opportunity, I would love for you to check it out (www.comealivein365.blogspot.com). Enjoy your down time :-)

You are amazing – don’t let the scale take that away :)

I have a recipe that I tried to make more healthy and it ended up just tasting very blah!! My kids said it had NO taste! I replaced most ingredients with a low fat version, but i think it needs more tweaking.. I was wondering if you would want to give it a shot..?? Here is the link and I also cut this recipe in half! Thank you for any help! http://www.plainchicken.com/2012/02/baked-spasanga.html#more

Oh my! I’d totally do this with spaghetti squash to! I’d love to take a shot at this. Give me a couple of weeks and i’ll try to put it in rotation.

I am constantly reminding myself that perfection is not a requirement…progress is…and that progress comes in many ways…not always on the scale.
