What a Runway SHOULD Look like…

8 Comments 1443 views

I got a chance too see the first ever BlogHer ’12 Fashion Show and it was awesome! Each woman in the event was unique in a her own beautiful way. I loved seeing the clothes, the models and witnessing what I think runways should really look like.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Now that is runway I want to watch because it shows what clothing looks like on real bodies! What a concept!

    Hi Roni,
Did you ever switch to the points plus system of WW? I lost 30 on the old and during a year of dental surgeries I gained most of it back. My final dental restoration is this month and I am taking big steps to get back on the horse. I have all the calculators and scales for the old system and am thinking of skipping the $60 for the new system of ww and going with what I know. Thoughts? or suggestions? I LOVE YOUR blog btw!

Right on Roni! There truly is nothing more inspiring than seeing someone simply happy with herself; happy in her own skin!

It’s like seeing someone jogging or walking with a smile on her face. Or, heck, simply seeing someone out in public (doing about anything) with a smile on her face!

seeing a smiling person almost always reminds me of how wonderful it is to be grateful, how being grateful is my choice today, and I thanks God (or the universe) for the reminder.

Thanks to you, today, for giving me that reminder. Feeling good about me, what I eat, and how I move my body is of paramount importance for my weight management! Nothing matters more.

They are so beautiful and happy! They make me think that the real key to self-esteem is to be natural and positive. Thank you for great video! :)

In my opinion, I’d go with what you know and find the support you need online.

These women are all absolutely gorgeous. Kudos to all of them for having the courage to put themselves out there!

Words don’t properly express how tired I am of model size standards. I think particularily the height standard is ridiculous and somehow fifty years ago this wasn’t the case at all. I seriously think we should all tell the fashion industry we’re not interested. I don’t need people telling me my legs aren’t long enough or I’m not thin enough, blah, blah, blah. I won’t put up with it. I don’t want to critize the women involved, because those are their bodies, but I won’t let them tell me what beautiful is. I don’t buy fashion magazines or really womens magazines for this reason too. I’m trying to be healthy. I don’t need their Eating Disorder inducing crap.
