Weekend Quote: Go To Work

7 Comments 1432 views

I love this quote. It gets straight to the point.

No sugar coating.

No hand holding.

No BS.

“Decide what you want, decide what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities and go to work.” ~H. L. Hunt

Keywords in this one: Decide, exchange, priorities, work.

I like it.

Great quote and very, very true. Those things must happen to loose and sustain the loss. Happy weekend.

They had pizza at school for lunch–I had carrots.
I came home to my apartment and the pizza delivery guy was delivering a pizza to one of my neighbors (they are all college kids). I walked a mile to Wendys and had a salad and chili but I really wanted a pizza but I really want to lose weight more right now–hope this feeling last!

I taught my first yoga class last night. In my journal – along side my plan for the class – I wrote that exact quote as motivation. It keeps popping up for me lately. Happy to see it here this morning.

So true, Roni. I am all about wanting to live a straight edge right now than wanting to take shortcuts.

The cool thing about having patience, I’ve found, is that I never have to look back and say, “Gee, I wish I’d had more patience…”

    Thanks for the post.

Great quote for me as I’ve recently had to rearrange priorities in order to start a business while still working full-time. Sometimes you have to be willing to exchange what you want right now for what you want in the future!

Yes, great quote. You may have to give up something in the short term for long term gain. It takes work to get what you want.
