Challenging yet fun day today. I have a few deadlines and working at home with the kids it’s quite the juggling act. I did what I can during nap but other than that decided to be present with them instead of distracted at both work and home.

We played legos, built train tracks and went for a nice long walk. Tomorrow I have child care and I plan on taking full advantage. I have to catch up on GreenLiteBites posts and I have a ton of FitBloggin tasks to complete not to mention a client deadline. *deep breath* I’ll get done what I get done, right?

Anyway, here’s the food journal. I’m just about to post 5 Back to Basics Weight Loss Tips too. Stay tuned.

Oh! and the tire. I almost forgot! The tire was part of my morning workout. I had to drag it across the parking lot. All 160lbs of it. At least now I know if I ever kill my husband I’ll be able to tranport the body. ;)

What Why
2 egg omelet with scallions and bacon bits I miss peppers. I haven’t been picking them since getting farm shares.
2 slices of leftover rainbow chard pizza I’m planning to get this idea up on GreenLiteBites this week!
Green salad with cucumbers + leftover chicken, a bit of cheese, sunflower seeds and a splash of raspberry vinaigrette An early dinner with the husband since he has Tennis on Mondays.
Skinny Noodles with a bit of olive oil, garlic and basil They sent me the noodles to try. Not sure what I think yet. Will write about them again.
Banana soft serve just like this Honestly, my "reward" after the kids went to bed and I savored every bite.
1 hour workout at gym – mix of strength and running + 30 minute walk
Not bad.

    I have tried those shiritaki noodles before. I’ve heard you really need to dry/blot them to be good. I did not dry them enough. Was annoyed by the wet texture, but wondered if they’d be better if I’d done more blotting.

    I need to try the banana soft serve sometime too. Every time I read about it I want to try…but I never have any bananas ready for it.

    How did you stomache those noodles… Ive heard so many weird things about them. Honestly I think just eat the damn pasta.. ya know?? It all depends on what you put on top of it really. To me its not worth giving up something like pasta for some squirmy squishy noodle that smells like fish.. LOL

    I’m torn on them. I actually kind of like the texture when I do them right and for those days when NOTHING satisfies that hunger (the I just want to eat days) they are a good choice. I ate them with a little olive oil, garlic and basil. It was simple and quite filling but they are definitely not for everyone.

    Never again for me on the noodles. to tough, kept chewing chewing and they would not go away.
    also I could you pull around a 160lbs tire in this heat. I can just get out do a few things and back home again. (I am alot older than you maybe thats it)
