FOOD JOURNALS

Popcorn and Podcasts

5 Comments 1163 views

A Doc Popcorn popped up at the mall a few months ago and can’t get enough. There can be worst things to be addicted to right? I mean, I know it’s not "free" but I definitely get more bang for my snack buck choosing popcorn over, say, chips, pretzels or crackers.

Right?

Please tell me I’m right.

Anyway, just a short post today. I have lots of links to share if you are interested.

Ok, I think that’s all I got tonight. Here’s today’s food journal. Hope you have a great day!

Food
What Why
2 egg omelet with scallion, spinach, zucchini, and ham I’m getting real good at my omelet technique!
Steel Cut version of The Most Amazing Bowl of Oatmeal Ever! Working on a video for Bob’s Red Mill. I’ll share when I’m done! I had to eat my props. ;)
watermelon snack with Little Bean
Fruit and NO-NUT bar from The Good Bean Trying for a product review. Not bad!
Popcorn I’m obsessed. :)
Blueberry Chicken Salad with Cheesy Herb Dressing It was a crazy dinner night. I made this with leftovers the boys had "breakfast"
Activity
Mudder training. I’ve been rocking my schedule!
Water
Started off good and then got lazy and never refilled my bottle.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

Popcorn is a treat for me… i love it, air popped with butter spray, but it really bloats me up so i look forward to it as a treat on the week-end. Great for you if you can use it as a “tool”… sure wish i could … i do think it’s a better choice over the chips and pretzels (salty dough!).

Popcorn was a salt vehicle for me. No bueno! So I gave it up for maintenance. It smells good, but using it for food/fuel no longer meets my short or long term goals. Sigh.

Podcasts are still part of the plan. Thanks for the update. Love Podcast listening while I clean. Almost like old time radio. Karen P

I don’t look at it as fuel more like one of my indulgences but yea.. it may be affect the scale more than I realize.
