When will you learn to go to bed when you’re tired and not EAT to stay awake? I mean, seriously. Get off autopilot and make smart, conscious decisions.

    BTDT, fighting it all the time. It is especially hard for me during stressful times. I guess that in an of itself is telling, huh? I love these posts. They are real.

    I guess that is the reason it is written that sleep is just as important as any other aspect of dieting. Something I need to learn myself.

    I eat dinner at 6pm at work and get home at 9pm, so sometimes I am both hungry AND tired (always tired). Some nights I make it to bed without snacking, some nights it seems impossible. If I do snack, I try to make a conscious choice. Last night I ate 10 almonds and it took the hunger away so I could sleep.

    This is me, too! I wrote down all the other things to do besides snack at night. Sleep was #1 on the list. I think I am relaxing at the time that I snack but I am really causing myself so much more stress the next day. So why do we just keep doing this????
