That’s a lie but it’s how I feel right now.

No traditional Sensational Sunday post today. We traveled to New Jersey for a family birthday and, well, that’s about it. I didn’t run. I didn’t’ cook. No laundry. No cleaning. No walks. No hikes, fishing, indoor picnics or trips to the park.

Why am I so darn tired?!?

Oh yea, I have 2 kids. These 2 to be exact…

They crack me up.

So I don’t have much to blog about tonight, not even a food journal, but I will tell you, I ate exactly 5 things today.

  • Pizza
  • Sun Chips
  • Lasagna (a LOT of it)
  • Cake
  • Graham crackers

Yea.. maybe that’s why I’m tired! My diet was far from stellar but being on the road and at the whims of other people’s food, you’ll have this from time to time. Hey, it could have been worse, belive me!

Thankfully I have my farm share this week for some inspiration. Tomorrow I have plans to try a new spaghetti squash tomato bake. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

Right now I’m watching the olympics with The Boys. Honestly, I’m seriously thinking of just going to bed. It’s 9PM and I could use a true 8 hours of sleep for a change.

Hope you had a great weekend. I’ll be back tomorrow with a food journal. I feel like I need to overdose on veggies to make up for today’s processed carb fest. geesh!

    Omg ok ,so today must be lasagna day!! LOL I had that too…and way too much.. But I tend to over eat on sundays…maybe thats why Im on pinterest right now looking up Vegan recipes!! LOL Have a good one!

    My Sunday was nothing but mindless munching!!!!

    um yup unfortunately been there ;) I think last saturday all I ate was brownies, hamburgers and cake! But it was a friends birthday so it won’t happen again for a while :)

    Yup, that’s what happens when you’re tired! Being tired in a MAJOR trigger for me and probably the only one I have left any more. My days of having little ones at home are over, but sometimes on the weekends I become so overwhelmed by all the things I have to accomplish, I let loose a little bit more than I should (think, tortilla chips and salsa). Right now I’m trying to lose the last 12 pounds of my menopause re-gain, so I’m back to being strict. Which brings me to the spaghetti squash! Can’t wait to see what you come up with.

    No wonder you’re tired; my sons are wear-you-outers too. Ever cut a squash or zucchini in half, put tomato sauce and cheese in each half, and bake them in the oven? It’s a breadless pizza and it delicious. Thank you for this post.
