Note to Self…

14 Comments 1638 views

Haven’t you noticed you tend to procrastinate when you are stressed and overwhelmed? You didn’t turn to food today which is good, but sitting, starring at your computer, checking twitter, peeking in on facebook–these are the things you do when you aren’t doing what you are suppose to be doing.

You know what I’m talking about.

And don’t use the I-don’t-have-enough-time-to-start-something-new excuse. Stick with the do what you can when you can philospohy. It has been serving you well.

Now… don’t procrastinate sleep. You have an early morning tomorrow if you want to get your workout in. Go to bed!

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

However, to prevent the massive amounts of spam I was receiving I have turned off comments on any post older than 5 days old. If you'd like to leave me a note regarding this post or anything really try me on twitter (@RoniNoone,) my Facebook page, or even IG (@RoniNoone) I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.

I hear you! I need to just get to work tomorrow AM on time, and CLEAN UP my desk! Just having a clean desk will make me feel more in control, and lead to less procrastination.

I can so relate. I have committed to making a list every morning. It totally helps me feel more in control!

This is the first note to self I can remember that didn’t have anything to do with eating or exercise. Can I call that progress? ;-)

Oh, I can so relate to this post. Almost everyday I’m always procastinating and still struggling to get through it and pursue with what I really need to do. I just hope I can get through this, this time around.

I do this all the time! Sometimes I shop online when I should be doing things I don’t want to do. I keep waiting for the day when I run out of excuses!

Sometimes giving in to the web surfing etc. actually ends it faster, because we enjoy the break that much more. :0)

Oh I’m so with you today Roni! I have been in this place a little too often these days, but you are ahead of me because I’m snacking while I’m on the computer : )

Is this post about me?? Sounds like it! lol

Oh, yeah. I plead guilty to this one, especially when I’m tired.

Wow, this is me to a “T.” When I am stressed about something, I will usually try and just avoid it at all costs, whether it be stressed about work, getting that blog out, money, etc. I’m getting better at it, but have a bit to go yet :)
