Another great day in Seattle! Again it’s late, I’m tired, and in a way, speechless. So many great conversations. So many great people. So many pictures! I’m spent. Let me do a quick recap and then go to bed!
I reached my goal of 1 run in Seattle…
I may go again tomorrow OR I may sleep in. Totally depends on how I feel in the morning. :)
Ever wonder what a blogging geek looks like at one of these type of events? Well here you go..
I’ve officially embraced my dorkiness.
I mean, seriously. Look at me. Camera in hand, thick framed glasses, name tag. And what am I doing at 1 AM?
Anyway, on the way downstairs I tried the Starbucks refresher they left in my room.
Not bad. And only 60 calories. Not sure I’d buy one though. Only because I’m not a carbonated sweet drinker.
Breakfast was similar as yesterday but with bagels instead of eggs, bacon, and sausage.
Thankfully Chobani was there so I made a giant yogurt parfait with cocoa nibs, berries, almonds and a bit of granola.
The morning panel was fabulous.
That’s @JoryDJ, @McGlamorous, @Bobs_Red_Mill, @SimplyRecipes, and @SteamyKitchen discussing the relationship between brands and bloggers. It was fascinating and very relevant to me as I continue down my path of professional blogging.
The rest of the morning I spent bouncing around sessions and enjoying my sample KIND Bar.
Then it was off to Pike Place Market.
Did you notice the gorgeously pregnant Kath?
I loved the market. So much fun stuff to look at and explore.
I think I would eat totally differently if I lived close to something like this. There were just so many options!
We wondered around the market and stumbled across the The Pink Door.
…shared the most amazing appetizers…
When I got back I had a much needed Skype call with The Boys.
I made it down for the keynote and must admit, got sucked in.
It was Kim Sunee talking about her book Trail of Crumbs. It may be my next audiobook for runs!
The rest of night was drinks with new friends, a trip to the good bye reception…
We made our way to Hula Hula and had fun watching Karaoke. It was crowded so the girls didn’t get a chance to sing. I won’t use that as an excuse because I’m just a big chicken. I fear the Karaoke stage! BUT it’s on my bucket list. I will sing Karaoke before I die. Mark my words. I want to overcome the fear.
Anyway, the girls decided on a cab home but I opted to walk back to the hotel. It was just over a mile and I wanted to just be.
It was the most perfect way to end my day. :)
