I SO wish I had more time tonight. I have too much to get out of my head but it’s already late and I’m still paying bills with husband –we do all our finances together but have been slacking. Now he’s sitting next to me but I bailed to talk to you. It’s more fun. ;)
Crap! I also have to try to get bed early because tomorrow is an early workout day.
DAMN there’s just not enough hours in the day!
Ok, sorry. I’m all over the place tonight. I’m just so darn excited. My food journaling is working! This is the lowest number I’ve seen on the scale since before getting pregnant.
And I feel GREAT!
Momentum has taken over.
I’m in the zone.
And NO, I’m NOT following Weight Watchers. Everyone seems to be asking me that lately. Here’s the really, super quick, story..
I feel in love with Weight Watchers, lost 70lbs, went into maintenance, still counted points for a few years, got pregnant, tried to follow PointsPlus after baby #2, didn’t like it, decided to do my own thing.
After being at this for 7 years I’ve come up with my own set of "rules" and I’m putting them into practice to finally lose these last 5, er, I mean 4 pounds! (145 is my personal goal.)
They seem to be working despite the random s’more. ;)
Anyway, I promise to go more into my "rules" but right now I have to finish these bills with The Husband before he kills me and then I have to go to bed. Here’s today’s food journal…
|1 egg/1 egg white omelet made with some kale, chard and bacon bits.||The farm is REALLY influencing my veggie intake now. I have the stuff, might as well eat it!|
|mozzarella caprese quinoa salad (click here for the recipe)||OMG made this up for lunch.. it was SO good.|
|Popcorn||fun snack with Little Bean – He’s as obsessed as I am!|
|watermelon||Snack time, I had some becuase Bean had some.|
|Grilled Turkey Loin + roasted veggie mix + 1/2 sweet potato/1/2 baked potato||Dinner was great! I split the potatoes with kids. It really works for us.|
|orange||I REALLY wanted to munch when we started the bills, grabbed this instead|
|Walked with the baby to the gym and took yoga|
|Good. hydrated but not running to the bathroom every 10 minutes. :)|
