When chocolate consumption increases the scale number increases. It’s kind of how this whole weight thing works, huh?

In all seriousness, I totally expected a gain. Easter weekend was a calorie fest. No guilt. No regrets. Moving on.

    Here in my town, they had Cadbury Eggs out in stinkin’ JANUARY! I told my husband I’m so glad Easter is over because this means a short-lived, 6-month break from the Easter candy til it is marketed again. LOL

    Oh :( so true me too just when I think I am back on the saddle another holiday. Hoping that if I am out in the sun more I will just not be in my house so I can’t eat as much. So sad but true. Good that you just decide to move on thats the way it has to be if you are going to enjoy your life! Love you blog!

    When my kids were little, I used to sneak candy out of their baskets after they went to bed! Of course, the time came when they learned how to count . . . :-) Now there’s no excuse for me to have chocolate in my house unless I want it there. I hope I become a blogger in time for your event. I work 45-50 hours a week and I’m trying to find a way to fit it all in. Sounds exciting!

    I was up 3 lbs this week too. You’re right – let’s move on. I have my 2nd 10K this weekend, so I have 2 days to hydrate myself and get moving again! It’s a shame those Reece’s eggs are SOOO GOOD!! LOL!

    I’ve been reading Marianne Williamsons book “A Course In Weight Loss” Not a food book at all but based more on spirituality and loving yourself and forgiving yourself for different things in your life. I am finding it very enlightening and it is keeping me in that good place of concentrating on living my life and loving myself and not giving every waking moment of my life to thinking about food.

    You got that right!! One jellybean led to 100 over the weekend. As a lifetime member who hadn’t weighed in over a year, it was time to go back to the plan. Weigh in complete and new material in hand! Up 6 pounds from goal. I guess it is better than waiting until I hit 10!

    Why are the bloggers/writers/celebs who lose 100 pounds always considered the “heroines” and “heros”? What about those of us who have always lived a healthy and super-active lifestyle? Not that I want attention-but it’s also difficult to have maintained my weight and fitness for the past 50+ years!

    I did SO GOOD and didn’t have ANY Easter candy! No kids and no reason to have it in the house. Granted, it was torture when I was at work and it was all half price…

    I only weigh myself twice a month and that time is coming up in a couple days… here’s to hoping tons of water and a lot less sodium will make sure I’m not bloated for the dreaded number!
