One Mom’s Journey from Fat to Skinny to Confident

Sensational Sunday Shots: Trail Running and Movie Watching!

Remember this?

It’s still getting good use in my kitchen! I’m trying hard to remember to fill it every morning and start the day with a nice big glass of water. It’s amazing how much better I feel when I remember.

Little Guy woke up when I did and hit the iPad.

He’s got a little Power Ranger obsession and with Netflix they are all available at the touch of his finger.

I decided to let him relax and hit the laundry myself today.

Soon Little Bean woke up and we had a little fun.

There were somersaults involved and Ryan got a good laugh at old mom who couldn’t do one.

I was afraid of hurting my neck.

I hate getting old for these type of reasons alone.

Breakfast was a bit of a circus.

Little Bean was a bit grumpy so we cheered him up with some music and dancing.

It was an oatmeal day and I made my new obsession.

Then I packed the kids in the car for a quick grocery store trip…

…before a nice trail run with Carrie.

Chart from Nike+

I came home and made lunch. Little Guy and I had Quesadillas.

That’s fancy shredded Mexican cheese blend, pinto beans, diced red pepper, baby spinach and a few tomatoes.

Little Bean had pinto beans and avocado.

Crap. Now I’m mad I didn’t think to put avocado on the quesadillas!

Next time.

Anyway, we took the kids out to see Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. Little Guy has been asking to see it for weeks.

Of course he liked it and I have to admit I didn’t roll my eyes or fall asleep. It wasn’t the best movie made but we all enjoyed it.

Afterwards we took the kids to Barne’s and Nobel.

And then Z-Burger for dinner!

I had a single burger with tons of veggies and the family split a small fry.

Totally hit the spot!

When we came home The Husband hit the laundry.

Disgusted apparently. lol

While I made beef stew for tomorrow.

I’m taking the kids to see my Great Aunt and Uncle and bringing them dinner.

What was Irish doing this whole time?

That! Exactly that. It’s ALL she does.

Before bed we practiced a little walking.

And then all put our laundry away.

I then posted on Baby’s First Year while watching Once Upon a Time. Which, by the way, still totally rocks! I really love that show. It’s so fun.

The post was a pictorial journal of Evan’s last 11 months. It’s amazing how much he’s grown. Click here to check it out.

Now I’m writing this while watching The Walking Dead but to be honest, I’m distracted. It’s FINALLY getting good again! They lost their way last season, in my opinion, but have totally redeemed themselves. I already yelled "OMG" aloud like 3 times!

Ok, off to watch! Hope you had a great weekend. Let’s ROCK this week! Who’s with me?

I have to side with the husband on the laundry. I’d be(and am) disgusted by it.

I was just posting last night on my blog how Im going to rock this week – I lost my mojo a bit this past week. Im bringing it!

Roni in your picture of the baby in his crib you have a cord hanging beside his crib, he is old enough now to pull that cord into his crib, bad things happen. I would hate for him to pull that cord and get it caught around his neck, stupid stuff like this take children’s lives all the time. Please move that cord away from the crib.

Great Sunday as usual. I’m with ya! This flu is NOT going to beat me down this week!

That picture of the crib has been on my mind all morning! I’d also be afraid of Little Bean biting the wire as well as getting it around his neck. No judgment here Roni, Lord knows if I sent you a dozen pictures of my house I’m sure you’d find something to pick on! But you know what they say about a pound of prevention!

Living a little more publicly I’ve learned not to take anyones advice as insult. People judge. It’s what they do I read, apply what makes sense, and let all the other “noise” go. :)

Sounds like a good Sunday. I have been speed hiking our local fire roads and seems to be a good way to go. Trail running God Bless you. I am a massage therapist and have many runners and am continually fixing their lower backs (which by the way I’m really good at and I can tell you what needs to be done to help you if you e-mail me.) Anyhow back on here to say I’m enjoying your site keep up the good work!
