Wednesday Weigh In: WRONG DIRECTION

7 Comments 1079 views

There’s so much I want to get out of my head except I’m EXHAUSTED and I’m going to bed. Sleep is just too important. That being said, I’ll say one little thing…

Even though I’m a little cranky that the scale went up 1.6 pounds since last week I’m not letting it take away how AWESOME I’ve been feeling lately! Scale or no scale I’m just in the zone with my overall food choices (although I did nibble a little too much this weekend) and I’m ROCKING the work outs. I even fit into a pair of jeans this week that I haven’t been able to pull up past my hips since before being pregnant! They were super tight, but a few months ago I couldn’t get them on at all.

I also hit the grocery store today and stocked up for the week (I’m planning a Wed to Wed week.)

Ok, time for sleep.

OH! I almost forgot. I was interviewed over at Girl Heroes! Click here to check it out Aaaaand SOMEBODY loves spaghetti squash (Hint: It’s not me. Click here) Aaaaand I posted a new lunch idea!

Speaking of spaghetti squash I have a new fun recipe to share. Hope to have it up tomorrow on GreenLiteBites.

OK now I’m really going. :)

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

omg the picture of him eating the squash is freaking adorable!

Congrats on getting back into those jeans! That’s better than what a machine says to you. ;)

Great interview at the other site! I’ll have to peruse it a little more.

Yay for you!! That is such a great feeling. Muscle weighs more than fat and is tighter and firmer so obviously you are gaining muscle and losing fat, thus allowing you to shimmy into your jeans!!:P Thanks for sharing all your “moments” with us!! I have been bouncing around a certain number on my scale and am starting to think they are all in cahoots with one another. I rarely get to post on here but you really motivate me to stick with taking care of my body- especially post baby. My little guy just turned one and my other little guy is about to turn three- unbelievable. I so want to get fit for them and put the numbers out of my head. You are helping me to do that :)

That is so frustrating when you know you are doing all the right things and the scale just won’t cooperate. I love that you have a positive attitude about it.

AWESOME that you could put your pre-pregnancy jeans on. My baby is six and I am nowhere near putting mine on—but I am working hard at it!

I know I have said it before: You are an inspiration! :)

Love the spaghetti squash picture! TOO CUTE!

Who cares what the scale says? You’re awesome! And I think the jeans thing is a pretty big NSV. Go you!

If you can fit into the jeans..then its inches more than weight changing? I know when its time of things… I always feel like 10 pounds heavier.. Im sure it will be back down in no time! :)
