Video Product Review and Giveaway: That’s It Fruit Bars

My first video product review. How fun are these? Well, for me at least.
Less Writing = Less Typos. Considering my track record, that’s a bonus. HOWEVER, instead of a typo I made a ‘speach-o.’ Throughout the video I say “Peach” when I really mean “Apricot.” The three flavors are Cherry, Pear and APRICOT. Not Peach. Oy vey.
Here’s the deal. Watch the video, leave a comment and be entered to win your very own box of That’s It to try for yourself. That’s 12 free bars! I’ll pick a winner on Wednesday. Sorry, U.S. residents only. :(
Click here to visit the That’s It site or here to Like their Facebook page.
Oh and here’s my beach post when I tried them the first time.
Disclaimer: This is a paid review. ‘That’s It’ compensated me for posting as well and provided the bars free of charge. All opinions expressed are my own.

What's Cooking in my kitchen?
-
I've seen it mentioned in a few of my clean eating and healthy cook books but honestly, I never even thought of Farro as an option for me. I refuse to shop at specialty stores and I try to use only common products that I can keep in stock and purchase from a typical grocery [...] -
I've never had a tuna melt. Is that weird? I guess that's what happens when you grow up not liking mayonnaise. I never ate tuna salad or egg salad or chicken salad. Honestly, they always kind of grossed me out. Then I realized.. hey.. why does tuna salad have [...] -
I have no idea where this idea came from. I was hungry. It was lunch. I had Brussels Sprouts. That was all the catalyst I needed.:) I decided to use a slice of real bacon to add flavor and little fat that would help sauté the sprouts. I'm trying [...] -
WOW was this good. I mean seriously good. It's not vegetarian so don't start throwing stones. I'm calling it a Garden Vegetable Burger because I use the new Laughing Cow Smooth Sensations Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese Spread. It was this recipe on Allrecipes.com that inspired [...] -
I drink water 99.9% of the time but every so often it just doesn't cut it. I want something else. Something more. Something slightly sweet. Today was one of those days. I decided to make a refreshing drink based on the famous Arnold Palmer, half lemonade and half iced [...] -
The other day I made a whole chicken on the grill in pieces. It was delicious! Just a little BBQ sauce and an open flame is all I need to make The Husband happy in the dinner department. I also picked up a few ears of corn from the grocery store. They aren't in season [...] -
Let me explain so you don't think I'm making a chili recipe and just put it on pizza. I'm calling this vegetarian Chili Pizza because chili is what inspired flavors. I think I told you. Little Bean is really into, well, BEANS! We go through a can about every 2 days. Yesterday [...] -
I've confessed my inability to follow recipes here on GreenLiteBites many, many times. I don't know why it's so hard for me. I can barely follow some of my own and I wrote the darn things! I think most of my problem stems from not having all the ingredients listed and, [...] -
Leftover brown rice and leftover sauce meet in this quick lunch idea inspired by my favorite food of all time: Pizza. I swear I can turn anything into a pizza concoction. Have you seen all my pizza ideas? I've used everything from pumpkin to zucchini, polenta to wontons. Nothing is off [...] -
This isn't a recipe just an idea I had to share. I can't believe how good it was! I've never had grilled pineapple. Can you believe it? I just never really had the desire to grill it before. When you love something raw sometimes it doesn't occur to you to cook it. [...] -
I whipped this up for lunch on a whim today because, well, I have a baby who's obsessed with three things… Cheese, Beans, and Avocado. No, really. Look... It's my go to meal for him so I find myself with beans and avocado readily available. [...] -
You know that tradition 7 Layer Mexican Dip? The one with the cream cheese, guacamole, salsa, lettuce, cheese, green onion and olives? Yea. That's the one. Well I had a craving for it the other day. Well, not exactly for it as I can never make anything the way it's suppose [...] -
If you go through the archives of GreenLiteBites I have about 5 total beef recipes. Five. Compare that to the 80+ I have tagged with chicken/turkey there's a clear winner in the meat department on my blog and in my home. I don't have a beef with beef (omg The Husband [...] -
I'm a kitchen sink smoothie maker. Whatever I have on hand goes in the blender and viola! A quick breakfast or a healthy snack. Last year I posted an "Elastic Approach" to how I make smoothies but I still like to share specific combinations that worked really well. This was one [...] -
The other night it was just the kids and I home for dinner and I decided to make what I wanted to make no holds barred. Without The Husband home it's much easier for some reason. Hmmm wonder why? Ok, not here to husband bash.. really.. I'm not! I'm here [...] -
*sigh* I was really hoping to share an awesome turkey burger idea. I had grand plans for my leftover ground turkey. The results was alright but they could have been so much better. I added diced pineapple, red pepper, green pepper, oats and soy sauce to the meat and formed 2 patties. In hindsight I [...] -
I made this on a total whim yesterday having no idea if it would work. To my surprise it did AND the husband actually said he liked it... UNSOLICITED! Here's the story. I had only 4 tilapia fillets defrosted for dinner. I knew it wasn't going to be enough for us [...] -
This is a slight reboot of a recipe I posted last year simply called Sweet Potato and Black Bean Chili. Staying true to my use-what-I-have-on-hand roots I, well, used what I had on hand and made a similar dish with a spicy twist. Topping the result with avocado added a cool creaminess that [...] -
Did you hear? The Laughing Cow recently launched Smooth Sensations a line of 5 cream cheese spreads. There's Classic Cream, Classic Cream Light, Strawberries & Cream, Garden Vegetable and my favorite… Cinnamon. It's a sweet wedge of creamy goodness! Today I decided to use my new favorite flavor [...] -
Confession time, I recorded a 30 minute video making this with both kids (partally) 2 nights ago. I miss videos. I really do but they seem so much more difficult with 2 children. I'm also having technical difficulties with my video recording and audio syncing making it VERY time consuming to edit. [...] -
A couple of years ago I shared a modified version of Sloppy Joe's I made for a party. Everyone loved it but I've been wanting to try to make something similar for the family on a smaller scale and without the pre-made canned Manwich sauce. I don't particularly have any issues [...] -
Yesterday I was dreaming about a salad. Not just any salad, but a chickpea filled, cucumber, and red onion salad with a fun, tangy dressing. Unfortunately, I had no cucumber or red onion. Well, that's a lie. I had a half of cucumber but it was a mushy mess and [...] -
Dinner meals are getting harder and harder for me to share lately. I've gone back to just whipping things up without really measuring anything (this meal was going to be one of those until I realized I still had enough light to take some photos.) I've also instituted a few brainless meal nights [...] -
Three years ago I posted a video called "Makin' Hard Boiled Eggs" where I shared my system for, well... making hard boiled eggs. Genius name, I know. I'm smart like that. Anyway, since then I've gotten tons of feedback and comments thanking me but all the information is locked in a long winded 10 minute [...] -
Yup. You read that correctly. BEET as in those red vegetables that stain your fingers pink. Honestly, I have no idea what possessed me to make this. I don't particularly like beets. I mean I like them, but I don't looove them. Two summers ago I made them for [...]

I remember you posted about these while you were on your vacation and they sounded great. I love dried fruit.. prunes, apples, pears!, apricots so these sound super yummy. I’d love a chance to win, but honestly i’ll probably order some anyway. THanks for the review! Can you order just one flavor or do they just come in boxes of 12 variety packs? I guess i’ll find out :)
I loved your review, even with the errors! I will have to look and see if Wegmans carries the bars!
Great video Roni! You had me cracking up over the whole Apricot/Peach thing. The bars look delicious. I also love that they don’t have any crazy ingredients.
Yummmmmm…….they look like Luna bars. I can’t wait to try That’s It bars! Your video was so cute and informative! Thanks!
Those look yummy.. And what a great idea to keep them in your purse for a quick healthy snack.. Would love to win these..
I would love to try these, and see if the Kid would eat them, especially when we’re out of fresh stuff for the lunch box!
These look good, and I’d love to try them. Thanks for the chance!
Would love to try these! Love the video!
These look pretty good. And seem very nutricious. Their web site seems to claim that because they are pure fruit, they are zero points plus on the WW plan. It doesn’t sepcificlaly say it, but it says that fruit is zero points and seems to imply that these are just fruit. Not sure if WW would agree completely because they count fruit when not eaten simply by itself, but at the very least, it seems like a low calorie/point alternative to a granola or prtein bar! Would love to win a box to try.
PS – I think peach would taste better than apricot. Apricots seems too tart to me compared to peaches…. your blunder on the flavor makes it seem that you were almost wishing the company would make peach. Mee too!!
I love Lara bars but don’t eat them often because I have a nut sensitivity sometimes (I’m a freak of nature apparantly). I love that there are only two ingredients.
I want to win!!!!
Sounds yummy! I’ll probably try them either way as well.
wish i could try all the product you get to sample for free but we all cant be in your position. enjoy all your freebies, ill keep going to the church for free food!
Sounds great, and I could get my kids to eat them!
I would love to win! These sound great :)
Thanks for the product review. I loved your correction bubbles…made me laugh :~)
I think I will definitely look for them and try the cherry one, and maybe the pear. I’m not a fan of apricot.
I would love to try the bars! Thanks for the honest opinions!
Awesome! I’m going to look for these. I have a 4 year old who would eat a whole bag of sugar if I let her and maybe the sweetness of these would satisfy her without all of the bad ingredients she seems drawn to.
I would love to try these! :)
I have been looking for these since you mentioned them previously. I cannot find them ;-) Thus, I would love to try these
I’ve never heard of those before – but would love to try them!
Hi Roni,
I would love to try out these new bars. They are new to me but willing to try them out.
I’d love to try these! Always looking for “on the run” healthy snacks!
I have just started eating healthier and am loving finding some new products. I would LOVE to win these!!
Also, thanks for your great blog. It has been a great help and encouragement!
Perfect for the lunch box!
I’m always looking for the more ‘natural’ choice for a snack. I would love to try these.
I want to try these!
And water just seriously came out of my nose and I laughed out loud when “OMG it’s APRICOT!” came on the screen.
You crack me up!
I’d love to try them (and have my kids try them) myself!
These sound delicious – I would love to try them!!
Looks like something I would totally dig! I hope I get picked!
Wow, these look delicious. I like all 3 flavors. I love apricot so I’m glad that’s what it really is. I love your videos…so friendly and informative. I called all around town today and we don’t have them any where yet… so I just gotta win! LOL
Vicki
These sound so good. I’d love to win some.
These look good. would love to win
These look really good. I think I would like the apricot because I like apricot anything (or peach)! I loved in the video where the word apricot got larger each time you said peach!
Sound great! Would love to try them.
You are dearling, and I’m not saying that because I want to win. I started WW 5 days ago and I’m so nervous about finding healthy, on-the-go, busy-mom, kind of snacks. I love fruit…so these are right up my alley. I’m excited to order some. Thanks again, for being a little blessing in my day while looking for courage and inspiration.
Andrea
I would love a chance to win a box of these to try. They sound like a great alternative the vending machine!
Great review. Would love to win!
Thanks for the contest and great
blogs! Louise R.
Thanks for the review! I will look for these in stores! (But I hope to win some too!)
I would love to get a chance to try these. I loved the video. I am a big fan of yours!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to say that I am a huge fan of yours. You seem so down to earth and friendly. Plus you have a great sense of humor!! I would love to try these because I have never had apricots!! :)
Wow!!! I am still shocked that these bars only consist of two ingredients!!! Do they taste kind of like dried fruit bars?
Those look absolutely delicious! Thanks for the opportunity to win some.
Seriously cracking me up with the peach/apricot thing! Anyway, those look pretty tasty and I also love that there’s not a bunch of “stuff” in them :)
One of the reasons I don’t like so many protein/fruit/cereal bars out there is that almost every bar seems to contain either a horrendous amount of calories or just way too much sugar for me to tolerate. But I think That’s It Bars really solve the two dilemmas for me as it’s low in calories and no added sugar with just the natural sweetness from the fruit itself. And being that apple is a base fruit for these bars, that is just a HUGE plus for me (yes, an apple fanatic here. lol). I’ve been purposely staying away from all sorts of bars (despite how convenient they are when you are in a hurry), but I think these bars could get me to love them again and incorporate them in my daily diet. Thank you for an awesome review, Roni! AND I love how you called it a “speach-o” lol so clever and funny way to name a mistake! haha
Yes, I do agree with Julie, apple is one of the best fruit for the health. In fact I do not have any problem with other fruits too. And thank you Roni for such a lovely recipe.
Oh man. I really want to try the cherry. I love cherry everything.
Ideanna – I never tried a dry fruit bar, not that I can think of, so I’m not sure what you mean.
These would be great to have in my bag when shopping, to avoid the food court trap with the kids! Thanks for the review.
I would love to try them.
Those look yummy :) I would love to try them
